PURPOSE-DRIVEN PROGRAMS
LEARNING SPACE | CULTURAL SPACE | CITY SPACE
Beyond providing a physical venue for events and co-working, C*SPACE is dedicated to creating and curating spaces that inspire creativity and foster continuous learning.
Our goal is to provide impulses and inspiration for the design of social, cultural, nature-oriented, and human present and future realities. To achieve this, we connect and support translocal people and ideas that have the potential to make a difference.
Our mission of translocal understanding, the promotion of lifelong learning and innovative further education, as well as art and cultural exchange, is also written in the articles of association of C*SPACE gGmbH.

LEARNING SPACE
Our planet has limits, but learning does not. At C*SPACE, we not only embrace the joy of continuous and creative life long learning, but we also believe that innovative approaches to education are a crucial catalyst for driving the shift toward regenerative futures. We design programs that blend interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial skills, and relevant societal, cultural and environmental knowledge, all while nurturing personal qualities such as courage, curiosity, and compassion.

CULTURAL SPACE
Creating Connection in Times of Disconnection. C*SPACE is committed to creating spaces for ideas and encounters across borders, inviting transcultural collaboration through a variety of transdisciplinary formats and artistic genres. From dialogue and design to dance, typography, tea culture, cinema, and more, projects foster diverse expressions of creativity. What unites them — whether contemplative or provocative — is the spirit of open-minded, open-hearted individuals eager to explore common ground.

CITY SPACE & KIEZ
Society.City.Context.Kiez. – When we take responsibility for society beyond individual and organizational boundaries, our next circle of influence is the neighborhoods where we live, work, and move. At C*SPACE, we believe understanding the local context — its cultural memory, social fabric, and biodiversity — is key to meaningful engagement and creation. Whether through a complementary walk or an urban-immersive project, the city space is both, a site for learning and a platform for action.

POP-UP TEAHOUSE INTERNATIONAL DIALOGUE
Ongoing (since 2021)
The Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin emerged during the pandemic as a response to a time of isolation. Developed with and for the Asia-Berlin community, it creates a space for transcultural exchange and reflection, serving as a stage for the arts—from poetry, dance, and design to readings, film screenings, and creative workshops—and, of course, for tea culture. Initially funded by the Berlin Senate, it has taken place in five editions since 2021. It currently operates on a donation-based model. Collaborations welcome! ART PROJECTS
Ongoing
As a culture- and design-oriented space, C*SPACE is open to collaborations with artists. In particular, the artwork “Common Space – Everything Flows 一切皆流,” created during the pandemic by Beijing performers Qian Geng and Wang Ziheng, has provided a resonant space for many other pop-up exhibitions and interventions, including: “The Black Cube” (installation, Rubing Zhang, 2022); “Alice Dittmar: In Dialogue with Qian Geng” (2021); “WATER/水/Wasser” (dance, Tian Gao & Giorgio de Santis, 2021); “Happiness and Grieve” (photography, Margarete Fuchs, 2022); Venusblume (graphic design, Yimeng Wu, 2022); “The Hong Kong Street Face” (typography, Roman Wilhelm, 2022); “Creative Pop-Up Shelf” (objects, Tao Haiyue, 2023); “Books and in Search of the Perfect Cup of Tea” (2024, Mary Lee).

From cozy picnic cafes to second-hand pop-up spaces, from participatory workshops to musical stages, KIEZ:MOBIL is a traveling meeting point in our neighborhood. Are you interested in KIEZ:MOBIL?
