DINNER SOCIAL CLUB
BRINGING TOGETHER THE PASSION FOR COOKING
AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS!
Dinner Social Club is a regular culture and dining experience that brings together the passion for cooking, social connections and thoughtful conversations. Food does the magic — that’s why we open the C*SPACE kitchen to dinner gatherings and offer space for experimental food formats in collaboration with exciting co-hosts, including cultural practitioners, culinary creatives, artists, and food activists. Ticket prices might vary each Dinner Social Club Evening, depending on the actual costs and sponsoring opportunities.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The idea for the Dinner Social Club was sparked by Katya Romanova’s vision of creating dinners with deeper meaning—an opportunity to combine great food with thoughtful conversations and meaningful connections. Katya is a designer, urban storyteller, and C*SPACE communications manager. At C*SPACE, where fostering community and bringing diverse networks together is at the heart of what we do, this concept found the perfect home.
The activity is based on a community-driven economy, unless there are external sponsors for the evening. We rely on ticket sales, ideally for a table of 40 people (the maximum capacity at our long table). Ticket prices typically range around 40 Euros. After covering real costs, the evening’s turnover will be shared equally (50/50) between the co-hosting parties. Interested in becoming a co-host or a sponsor? Get in touch with us!

DINNER WITH SISSI CHEN: FOOD & IDENTITY
December 9, 2024
This edition is hosted by Sissi Chen, Berlin-based culinary consultant and author of Einfach Chinesisch.
This dinner experience brings together two of our favorite topics: food and talks across cultural and physical borders. Sissi will share her experiences growing up in a multicultural, multilingual environment and how these influences shape her work as a blogger and writer. On her Instagram @eatinginberlin she focuses on representing cuisines that are often not covered by mainstream media and that are easily overlooked in Berlin. This dinner offers an informal yet deep exploration of the complex theme of identity.
CONSCIOUS DINNERS — NAVIGATING BURNOUT
October 11, 2024
Have you ever felt overwhelmed, with too much on your plate, or like you’ve bitten off more than you can chew? We believe there’s an intriguing link between burnout and food, and this dinner explored that connection. This space offered a chance to the cozy group of 15 guests to explore how to identify, be with, and navigate burnout with consciousness. The dinner was hosted by Judit Saez, a founder of Connection Camino, and featured “emotional tapas” and culinary delights prepared by chef Sjoerd van Beelen.
KITCHEN CONVERSATIONS
April 24, 2024
It was a night filled with both delicious dishes and thought-provoking conversations, co-hosted by artist and podcaster Patrycja Rozwora. She presented her Kitchen Conversations Cookbook: Homey Recipes from Artists, which inspired lively discussions around the table about food, identity, traditions, belonging, and childhood memories. Over 40 guests enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Georgian artist and passionate cook Tante Nino, along with her partner Pieter Jan, who have recently made Berlin their home.
